I fucking hate chopsticks!

Not the eating accessory, but the very tedious song!
My sister is always bashing it out on our piano and it drives me crazy!

I can't believe that Michael Jackson is dead! So sudden, so soon! Cardiac Arrest!
My mum thinks that the real truth of his death has been covered up.
He was a real inspiration to me and and the sexual accusations against him, I believe, were untrue and disgusting! I was going to go to his tour but I didn't get around to buying tickets.

My mood's been lifted as I've recieved a DVD in the post! I love getting parcels in the post,
and It probably sounds immature, but I find it exhilarating!

I've got a meal out tonight, with some friends and on monday, I'm going hiking in Scotland!
Life - For me - is good at the moment (aside from the fact that I'm single)

Speak soon,
Love you all X

With expectations of a hot and sunny summer, why does everyone seem depressed?? Is there such thing as a Summer Flu?? I've just found out that my friends' dad is dying! It's been hanging in the air for years, like a dark cloud in the distance. It's crept closer, almost secretly and invisibly and the rain has started to fall... Summer expectations aren't as hot and exciting for that family!
I've just finished performing a play by Lope De Vega called 'Dog in a manger' and it was a fantastic laugh! I played the part of the Marquis Ricardo, who is a sleazy, slimy suitor of the main female part, Diana. I remembered all my lines! Now, this wasn't my first performance... Drama has been woven into my life as I went to a Steiner school and much of their curriculum is music and drama and not so much exams and competitiveness! My biggest role was in an Opera called 'The Turn of The Screw' by Britten where I played the part of Miles. Because it is rarely performed, the press were interested and it turned out to be my first big success story!
Music is life and without it I'd die. I literally love all music ( apart from cheesy Disney and the pussycat dolls!!) I love Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) They're so 80's! I also like the music in the charts, like Jordin Sparks, Dixie Lott, Lady GaGa, Noisettes etc... I can't wait for the new Just Jack album and I've already heard his new song 'The Day I Died' which is awesome! making music is also my passion, I write lyrics and tunes which vary from big choral extravaganza's to slushy love songs. I play violin and piano.
I'm also loving Belle De Jour (the call girl) her books are so funny, frank and witty! The television series with Billie Piper are also just as addictive. I met Billie Piper - but that's another story, another time...

My guide to good music..
  • The song needs to lift your mood, give you butterflies even!
  • Variety! There's nothing worse than a song sung on 3 different notes!
  • Has to be a good beat (to keep those toes tapping or head bopping!)
  • Varied Tempo, not esssential but makes the song more unique!
  • Not too cheesy! (Hannah Montana, take note!)
  • Varied key, a good key change can be appropriate! don't go over the top (Westlife!)
  • It can't get old or boring! Can't be a song that sounds good once!
  • Have a varied backing, try different instruments (banging pots and pans!)
  • Has to leave you begging for more...

Well, I guess this is my first entry, and I must say - briefly because I haven't got much time - I'm looking forward to blogging. For now, I'm lovin' life and have got to get up early tomorrow, eurgh!
